A bundle of things he had placed in a sac, and he looked like St. Nick just opening his pack!
Twas the night before the Holidays, when all through the studio,
Not a video was playing, not even on vimeo.
The camera gear was safely stowed in its place,
In hopes that St. Silverpoint soon would take shape.
Josh and Stan were nestled all snug in their offices,
While visions of 4K cameras danced in their heads.
And Serena in her stockings, and Boris in his cape,
Had just settled down to animate a winter landscape.
When outside the office there arose such a clatter,
Jenn and Spexx sprang from their chairs to see what was the matter.
Away to the window the team flew in a flash,
Josh gripped Stan’s arm wildly, Ray and Boris analyzed the crash!
The moon shone brightly on our green grass below
And gave the luster of springtime, instead of the usual snow.
When what to our wondering eyes should appear,
But a flying white Subaru, WITHOUT eight prancing reindeer
With a medium driver so lively and slick
We knew in a moment, “It is St. Silverpoint” quick!
More rapid than Josh and Victor, he came,
And he bellowed and shouted and called us by name:
“Now Victor! Now Boris, now Serena, Alice, and Stan!
Now Ray! Now Adrienne, now Spexx, Josh, and Jenn
To the door of the building, to the front where they wait
Dash away, dash away and make way for me mate
And then in a twinkling, we all stepped aside
For he appeared in the middle with a large friendly smile
His eyes – how they twinkled! His spiked hair, how groovy!
His cheeks and his smile made him seem quite merry.
He was dressed in designer, from his front to his back,
And his clothes were all pressed and smelled strongly of Axe!
A bundle of things he had placed in a sac
And he looked like St. Nick just opening his pack!
He was tall and lean and looked like a cyclist.
And we laughed when we saw him, Ray felt utterly at bliss!
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon made Josh let go of Stan as he had nothing to dread!
He spoke a million words and almost forgot his deliveries!
But we reminded him of his pack and he announced quite cheerily:
“For the video side, new lens’ and cases.
For the animation team a new chair without creases.
To motion graphics some new font sets,
And the sales team some new slick suits.
The project manager a well earned vacation trip,
And to my favourite musician, a brand new drum kit!”
He filled all our hands and turned with a twirl
He gave the boys a smirk and nodded at the girls.
Then he cracked open the celebratory beer,
“Peace everyone, and good Holiday cheer!”
He sprang from the office and to his car applied a honk!
He cranked up the music and gave us one last wink.
And away St. Silverpoint flew in a blink
For his next stop was surely that place called Stak Inc.!
