Aequitas NEO Exchange
Dare To Do Things Differently
Aiming to redefine the role of a national stock exchange in Canada, the NEO Exchange is using a new blueprint that puts investors and businesses looking to raise capital, first.
NEO is committed to bringing change to the Canadian listings space and sought a powerful film to complement this attitude. In addition to revealing NEO’s unique objectives, the film supports the launch of the new exchange and demonstrates the IPO experience for future clients.
In Latin, NEO means “rebirth”; it’s no coincidence that this new exchange is breathing new life into Canada’s Capital Markets by bringing competition to the marketplace and addressing harmful ongoing practices. “Dare To Do Things Differently” presents this new exchange in a powerful and vibrant way, showcasing the significance of going public with the NEO Exchange.
To celebrate new listings on the exchange, companies are presented with custom artwork, commissioned through a partnership between NEO and a talented local artist. The unique pairing provided a source of inspiration and a metaphor to be explored throughout the film.
With plans to release “Dare To Do Things Differently” in March 2016, the NEO Exchange has shared the film with internal audiences where it has been very well received. To enhance the film’s launch, two additional pieces have been cut from the full length film—the first including only the artist scenes and the other, of the listing event.
“The Artist” film has been released on social media and has been viewed more than 84,000 times on Facebook within the first month of release.
